(race date estimated)10K Ruck March Race Description
Q: What is a Ruck Sack? What is a Ruck March?
A: Whether it is a training event or preparation for a tactical operation, the American soldier's rucksack has always maintained the ability to hold essential items that a Soldier needs to survive: from food, water, uniforms, and so much more. The rucksack has to hold everything he/she needs to live, fight, and protect our great nation. Ruck marches have long been used to push the level endurance and strength of an individual. This will not be easy, but you will never forget being apart of it.
This ruck march is to get members of our community active also showing veterans our support. A ruck march is a physical event that every recruit must pass to become a soldier, It is a rite of passage. A ruck march also signifies the mental and emotional burden a soldier might carry with them. For this event, we want to show those who made sacrifices that we not only support them but we stand by them. Join us and flood the streets with patriotism.
