2022 Turkey Trot Race Description
Start Thanksgiving off with a 5k on the Platte River Trails with the Windy City Strider's annual Turkey Trot. Day of registration will begin at 8am and the race will start at 9am. Runners and walkers of all abilities are welcome, as are kids (under 12 must run with an adult), dogs and strollers.
Registration fee is a non-perishable food item, dog or cat food, kitty litter or cleaning supplies, which will benefit Poverty Resistance.
The Casper community and visitors have been so generous in prior years, allowing the Striders to donate boxes of food to Poverty Resistance, Joshua Storehouse and other local food banks, and food and supplies to the Humane Society and Metro, and on behalf of the charities and recipients we want to say THANK YOU to everyone who has participated in the past.
