38th Annual Buffalo Stampede 5k/10k

Good evening everyone!

FOR THOSE WITH NO BASE ACCESS:

Parking will be available at the closed gate off Missile Drive. From I-25, take the Missile drive exit. If you continue straight on missile drive, you will see a shut down gate to base with a parking lot on the right hand side. Please view our "38th Annual Buffalo Stampede" Facebook page to view an image of the parking location. Parking is limited, so it would help to carpool with others. The shuttle will be arriving around 6:30am to start sponsoring folks on base. There will most like be multiple trips, so if its not there, it will be shortly. YOU NEED A CURRENT LICENSE OR ID TO GET ON BASE! As always call me at my cell listed below for any issues.

FOR THOSE WITH BASE ACCESS:

We will be meeting at the gazebo on the far side of the parade field. Right behind the bleachers. Show time is 0700-0730. Parking is available in multiple spots around the parade field. Please leave the missile drive parking for those individuals without base access. There will also be signs to guide you to the correct spot

In conjunction with Fort D.A. Russel Days and Cheyenne Frontier Days, the Red Buffalo Booster Club is putting on a 5k/10k race to kick off the festivities! Runners of all ages and abilities are welcome! This event will be on 23 July 2016 at 0800. The location of the start of the race will be the east side of the Parade field by the gazebo. The Buffalo Stampede is a long standing tradition that shows off F.E. Warren AFB to the local community while also allowing many military and civilian runners to showcase what they are capable of.

Pre-Registration Cost: $10/person
Day of Race Cost: $15/person
Students: $10

SHOWTIME: 7:00AM -- START 8:00AM
- Parking will be available at gate 2 (Missile Drive Gate). The shuttle will be running at 0615 to get people on base.
- Participants will need to bring an ID to get on base.
- Once registered, for those who do not have base access, we will contact you for more information about getting on base.
