5K Ghost Run and Poker Walk Race Description

Come run the 5K Ghost Run or the 5K Ghost Run with Doggies. Other events include the Poker Walk and Kid's Monster Dashes

5K Ghost Run 5PM

Chip timed 5K run through downtown Bradenton and up and back along the beautiful River Walkway. Strollers with little ghosts are welcomed. Notice No Ghost Busters allowed! Strictly enforced by the Powers that be.

5K Ghost Run with Doggies 5:05 PM

Chip timed 5K run follow the same route as the 5K Ghost Run. Doggies run with their owners on Non-retractable leashes. Awards 6 inch tiles for top 3 M/F finishers with their doggies names engraved. 'Doggie watering Holes Provided'

1 Mile Fitness Walk 5:10 PM

1 Mile Fitness Walk to benefit the Robinson Hearts & MInds Foundation. Follows a less challenging route up and back the River Walk

Poker Walk 5:10 PM

Hosted by the Old Main Street Downtown Merchants Association. Participants can sign up for the 5K and Poker Walk or just the Poker Walk. Each Poker Walker recieves their own special Poker Walk t-shirt and can visit participation pubs and enjoy specially priced beverages and then recieve playing cards at each. Winning hands obtain special prices. Benefits the Robinson Hearts & Minds Foundation

Kid's Ghosty Dashes

4:15 PM 3-4yrs run 100 meters

4:17 PM 5-6yrs run 200 meters

4:25 PM 7-9yrs run 400 meters

4:30 PM 10-12yrs run 800 meters

All little ghosts recieve finishers medals, monster ghost shirts & bibs. Trophies to top 3 boys and girls ghosts in each age group. Children 12 and under who are registered in the 5K can compete in the Kid's Ghost dashes for free!
