Nice Small Town race

It was fun to watch my teens run this year in a race I ran when I was a teen and many times since! The Franklin Y does a great job organizing and the whole town seems to come out to watch. It’s a pretty easy, straight course out from downtown through a residential area turning around and tracing back at the halfway point. A slight upgrade on the way back. People cheer all along the course and some blast Eye of the Tiger and the Rocky theme song every year from their front porches. The only thing not so enjoyable is the fair food smells near the finish line but you’ll enjoy the gyros found to the right of the courthouse after a little recovery time! Tons of crafts, food and events all weekend too.

Nice Small Town race
