Boundary Waters Cross Country 5k Where & When
Most Helpful Review
Fantastic Run!!
Boundary Waters Cross Country 5k was challenging for a 5k run. With those precious young cross country runners in the field, you are encouraged to pick up the pace. There was field, grass, dirt and gravel. So well-organized and supported. We'll be back:)
Good all around event !
Well organized . AWESOME Race Directors, Time Keeper and Volunteers made it an easy to follow and well marked fairly flat and decent trail course with plenty of room. NICE shirts [ that you will keep ] and GOOD quality medals ! WELL DONE !
Beautiful, fun course!
We loved this race from start to finish! The race director was super enthusiastic and friendly. Everything was so well organized and the course was beautiful. Mostly flat and the roots were all marked - so helpful. We had a lot of fun! Lots of prizes and a great tech shirt. Hazelnut coffee and nice bagels afterwards. We will run this one again!
Boundary 5k
I liked the course changes this year. This race always brings out great runners and great course times. The course combined grass, trail and hard surface which makes for a challenging run. The weather, staff, runners, families and sponsors made this a fun and memorable day !!!

The course was nearly perfect....mostly shady, mostly flat, 100% enjoyable.
Outstanding course!
This is probably my favorite cross country course. Course is nice, flat, and beautiful. Paul who is the race director is a super nice guy who truly cares about the runners. All his races are ran flawlessly. This is a race you don't want to miss if your a runner in this state.
Boundary 5k
The course is well marked but challenging in the highly shaded wooded areas with roots. The grass is high in the final field but all in all this course is mostly flat and fast for many good runners and i think fun for all.
Fun Run, Short Course
The course is pretty and mostly flat but more like 3 miles than a full 5k. PROS: Enthusiastic directors and sponsors, cool t-shirts and prizes, nice course. CONS: Short course, splits are off, not enough bathrooms for a large crowd, course retains a lot of water (dirt becomes mud, grass becomes slippery) so watch your step if it's been raining. Overall not a bad race to try once.
Great event
Great course that's nice and wide and event is well managed and the shirt and medals are top notch ! GAA does a fantastic job putting it all together from the timing crew and photographer to the volunteers and the random prize give aways are an added bonus so everybody has a chance to win something!
Good race- well organized
Really enjoyed this race- couldn’t do OCR for awhile and this was perfect.
