Butch Stilger Memorial 4 Miler Race Description

Please join us for the inaugural firefighter memorial and celebration 4-mile run on Saturday June 4, 2016 at Gresham Park to commemorate the life and legacy of firefighter, Butch Stilger. Enjoy a picturesque run through the hilly countryside near the quaint town of Lanesville, Indiana. We also want to recognize the Kentuckiana Fire Department who serve this community. All proceeds will go to the Crusade for Children, an organization dedicated to improving the lives of children with special needs.

Beautiful course. Conscientious Organizers

Run takes place in beautiful rural Lanesville. There are hills, so train accordingly. Small race field, but runners were given the proper attention for a course of this size. There was one water stop. There were organizers on ATV's checking on participants throughout the course. If you are not from Lanesville, get there early to find registration and the starting line. Lots of door prizes and race entry fees go for a good cause. Race experience overall was very good.
