Catch a Parkie-Pine Family Fun Run Race Description

The Catch a Parkie-Pine Family Fun Run is a 5k that winds its way through the trails of the Tanana Lakes Recreation Area. The race is being held to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the National Park Service. Runners can win prizes when they capture flags from "Parkie-Pines" hidden along the trail. Join us to run, have fun and catch a parkie pine! All ages are welcome. Proceeds go to develop Peirce Park.

 

Racers can pick up bibs and t-shirts August 26 from 2-6 pm in the lobby of the Morris Thompson Visitor Center in downtown Fairbanks. In person registration is also available during pib pick up and the morning of the race. Race day fee is $20 for adults children are free.
