2023 lacking the same magic, but still fun!

In years past there seemed to be a much better atmosphere, more vendors, better obstacles, and better organization. This year the obstacles were lacking, barely any mud, only one water station (which is dangerous in our heat), no vendors outside of a gym advertisement and a concession stand, and since there were no vendors there was no incentive for folks to hang around like in years past to chat and take pics. There was also only two water hoses to rinse when we used to have fire trucks and we didn’t see a single photographer - were told pics will be uploaded, but I’m not sure that’ll be the case. I’m not sure what changed or if it’s just budgets, but we were disappointed this year for sure. I think we may choose another event next year since we missed out in much larger events locally in anticipation for this one.
