Walk, jog or run for a great cause!

 Make a difference for victims of domestic abuse.

Our 5K will be on Saturday, May 4th. Registration will start at noon and the race will start at 1pm, rain or shine. You can register online until Thursday, May 2nd at 1pm. You may also register in-person the day of the race. If you want to make sure you get a t-shirt your size, you have to register by Wednesday, April 17th.

You can register as an individual or as a team.

Pre-registration pricing:

$15 (no t-shirt)

$25 (teams of 4 or more, includes t-shirts, option available until April 17th)

$30 (individuals or teams of 3 or less, includes t-shirts, option available until April 17th)

Day of the race pricing: $20 (no t-shirt) and we'll be selling t-shirts for an additional $15 the day of the race.

You can do our 5K in person or virtually. Since it's a fun 5K, you can choose to either walk it or run it at your own pace. Strollers and dogs with a leash are welcome.

If you choose to join us in person, registration will start at noon and the race will will start at 1pm on the bike path by the Presbyterian Church in Rochelle at: 1100  Calvin Rd, Rochelle, IL 61068.

The top 3 runners in our in-person race will receive a cash prize:

1st Place will get a $150 cash prize.

2nd Place will get a $100 cash prize.

3rd Place will get a $50 cash prize.

If you choose the virtual 5K, you can do it any time and you can complete it anywhere, at a gym or at home or outdoors. You can use a fitness tracker, an app on your phone, or any method you prefer to track the distance you're walking or running. We won't ask you for proof, so this would be mostly for you, but you can share it with us via social media, on facebook, x (twitter), or flickr. After your 5K run or walk, you have the option to upload a photo of your results through the RaceEntry dashboard. This is optional, but if you want your results to appear on our Cinco K RaceEntry page and/or your digital certificate, you have to submit them before 3pm on Saturday, May 4th.

Want a t-shirt?

To guarantee you will get a t-shirt and to also get the best price, register online by Wednesday, April 17th and select a registration option that includes a t-shirt.

We'll have t-shirts available the day of the race, but that won't be guaranteed. So, if you'd like to make sure you get a t-shirt in the right size, register by April 17th.

Help us raise funds

Whether you participate in the 5K or not, you can also create a fundraiser or make a donation of any size to HOPE through our Cinco K fundraising page.

Cinco K is HOPE of Ogle County's only annual fundraiser. All proceeds go to support HOPE of Ogle County, a domestic abuse agency and shelter, and the life changing services that we provide to adults, teens and children throughout our service area.

HOPE of Ogle County provides shelter services, counseling services for adults, teens and children, court advocacy, support groups, and community outreach. These services are also available in Spanish. All our services are confidential and free of charge.

Help us spread the word about Cinco K!

Our 5K is called Cinco K because it happens during the week of Cinco de Mayo. Encourage everyone you know to register for our 5K, fundraise or donate! You can post about it on all your social media accounts. You can also share our Cinco K posts with others. Please use the hashtag #CincoK2024
