FEVER RIVER ADVENTURE AWAITS

My brother, Dad, and I found this triathlon in about 2007, and have loved racing this tri for many years since then. The last 4 were impossible with my son running Cross Country in high school, but we are looking forward to returning to it this fall. 3 Gen is now only 2 Gen, since my dad passed away last year, but even in his 70's and at 80 years old he loved getting ready for this race and giving 100% on race day. I have done the kayak with my dad quite a few years, the bike a few, and the run a few as well. It's a very scenic race going through the hills of Galena and it's fun with all the great competition! The race is well organized and it runs smoothly due to its excellent director and great workers/helpers. I hope it continues for many more years because it gives me a wonderful way to enjoy racing and family all in one!
