Great for Family, Friends, & Groups!
My husband and our 2-year-old had a blast run/walking the course while my pregnant belly enjoyed a brisk walk with a fellow soon-to-be mommy friend. The music, vendors, and lively area is the PERFECT way to enjoy a Saturday for all ages! Our family attends every race and we invite our church group, extended family, and couple friends. Leah, Sonny and their kiddos are THE NICEST, most genuine family you would ever want to meet (and you will, at the race). It feels like a family reunion! Grab your group and get your tickets, I'll see you there!

amazing folks who put the race together......friendly, positive, successful, health conscious ........outstanding cause.....well managed event....course laid out well and protected by police officers.......only disappointment was that the race was a half mile short in distance....don't know if this was intended or an unknown mistake or a known mistake (but too late to fix) or what ......

Fit Foodie Family Tradition
I've been a 5k participant since Fit Foodie Le started the race in 2018. It's a great event that is family friendly. They do a great job of mapping the race trail as well as having water stations along the route. Then after the race there are fun activities as well as community sponsors present offering special coupons or services. In 2019 there was a sponsored post-race stretch station that was an awesome treat. The 1k for kids is also great and so cute to see them participate in. It's been a joy seeing how the race has grown and evolved and I am excited to see what 2022 has to offer!
