This race is awesome. The scenery is beautiful, the price is right, the shirts are amazing, the organizers are friendly, and the burritos and beer afterward can't be beat!
This race can't be beat. It is a challenging course with great organization, friendly volunteers, fair pricing, and excellent post-race food. The course is completely on hard-packed dirt with varying elecation, which makes it much more interesting than your run of the mill road course.
I absolutely love this trail run. It's a smaller group, but includes families and even allows dogs. I've done both the 5K, as well as the 10K and both are laid out well, with a few hills on both runs. The 5K is out and back and the 10K is a loop. Beautiful views, great burritos, awesome shirts and a wonderful volunteer group. Thank you again and see you next year!!!
A wonderful experience overall - being in community, in nature and in remembrance.
Thank you for taking the time to respond. So glad you had a good time!
Great staffing and organization. I like the spirit of this race. I like the uniqueness of the awards. My green hoody from 2017 continues to be my garb of choice for all my runs when it's cool. I like the low registration fee.
