Golden Gate Headlands Marathon Race Description

This is a gem of an event! You'll start and finish at Rodeo Beach, Fort Cronkite, in GGNRA (west of the Golden Gate Bridge in Marin County). Along this scenic trail run through the Marin Headlands you'll soak in panoramic vistas of the Golden Gate Bridge, the San Francisco cityscape and the lush Pacific shoreline peppered with vibrant wildflowers. The course is a combination of singletrack hiking trails, fire roads, pavement and a beach crossing.
