Haven 30K: 9:00 am (shuttle starts at 8:30 am)
Haven Half: 10:00 am (shuttle starts at 9:15 am)
Haven 10K: 11:00 am

Haven 30K: Pilots Knob trailhead
Haven Half: Hwy 44 and Placerville Rd.
Haven 10k: Hisega Lodge (out and back)
Prices:
Haven 30K: $70.00 (use your member ID to get the BHRC discount)
Haven 30K (16 and under): Free entry but no swag

At Hisega when you check in for the race on 7-27-2024
Parking:
Haven 30K: Park on Tomaha Trail in Hisega at the finish and you will be shuttled to the start or park at Pilots Knob (Hwy 385 and Merritt Rd)
Haven Half: Get dropped off at the start or park on Tomaha Trail in Hisega at the finish and you will be shuttled to the start.
Haven 10K: Park on Tomaha Trail north of Hisega Lodge
Directions to Hisega: From Rapid take Sheridan Lake Rd approx. 6 miles and turn left on Hisega Rd. (by Mexico Tipico) In 1.3 miles turn right at the T intersection. If you are coming from the north, south or west, take Hwy 385 to Hwy 44 then east to Hisega Rd and turn right then follow the above directions.
Participants will receive a finisher medal and a cool bag. If you sign up before July 1, 2024 you will also receive an awesome t-shirt!! Plus you will be served some yummy food, beer and wine while you listen to live music by Johnny Hastings. If you are not a runner but love to come cheer everyone on, you can still register for the food and drink through this site.

Cool Trail - Pretty difficult
I did the half This is a really interesting trail. Be ready as the first half seems like it is miles of ups and sharp downs. Other runners had hiking poles with them and that would have been a major help on the uphills and balance for downhills. You cross the creek a mile or so in. It would have been worth it to have taken shoes off and kept dry socks. After the halfway point there is some nice easy trail to run on but you will likely get wet with switchbacks over the creek. There is two more punishing hills in the second half. From the last aid station it is easy going to the end. This is more advanced course for sure. Food music and beers at the end are amazing.
