Hearts For Hannah 5K & Fun Run

My name is Seth Nieman, and in 2017 I ran the Chicago Marathon with the Muscular Dystrophy Association's Team Momentum in honor of my older sister Hannah. Hannah has battled muscular dystrophy for years and was recently diagnosed with motor neuron disease, which is an umbrella of various diseases that can affect how one walks, talks, eats, drinks, thinks, and breathes. 

I was able to raise $2,000 leading up to the 2017 Chicago Marathon, and the experience was unlike anything I had ever done before. The Muscular Dystrophy Association means so much to me, and following the marathon I became encouraged to run the race once again. But this year I am taking it a step further and running the New York City Marathon as well!

I'm hosting a 5K run at Southwest Mississippi Community College with all proceeds going toward my fundraising goal for the Muscular Dystrophy Association! The race will begin and end on the running track at the college and a 1-mile fun run will immediately follow! Registration includes a t-shirt, finisher medal, race bib, swag bag, and the finish line after party! All rates will increase by $5 on May 2nd, 2018, and by $10 on the day of the race.
