Kroc & Roll Sunset Run Race Description

DESCRIPTION:

Come enjoy the beautiful sunset as you run/walk over the Biloxi-Ocean Springs Bridge .

COURSE INFO:

Race will start and end at the Golden Nugget Hotel and Casino for both the 5K and 10K. The 5K will turn around on the bridge, back to the Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino, while the 10K continues onto Ocean Springs, Front Beach Drive along the coast, then turn around at the fork, then back over the bridge to the Finish Line. It will be a beautiful scenery with water stations along the way.

Packet Pick-up begins Friday, July 5, 2024, 5pm-8pm at The Salvation Kroc Center, 575 Division Street, Biloxi, MS 39531

Packet Pick-up is also available on Race Day at Race location.

*T-shirts guaranteed to those registered by June 1, 2024.

**Awards given to 1st Overall Male/Female.

***Awards also given to the First, Second and Third racers for each age groups.

Race Start Time is July 6th, 2024 at 6:30pm.

We traveled out of town for it. Small race. Very unorganized in my opinion. There were no signs or any directions for the start line.. Water stations were advertised but ran out of water QUICK. I would’ve brought some fluids if I would’ve known they’d run out. (It was really hot and humid) missed a turn, and it was along the beach with a ton of people going back and forth. The bridge was a nice challenge. I’m glad the proceeds went to a good cause. Will not be running again though

Thoughts

nice small race...easy course to follow...cotton t....nice medals...water at the end... (I am from an area that has 3-4 races a weekend, and the after race is more a party, but this was a challenging course and for a good cause.)
