Nice course but not USAT sanctioned
This event was a pleasant surprise. Once you figure out the dual/split transition areas and you get each one set-up, you will find it's a nice and fast course. Long walk back to the car...consider that when parking. And, it's not USAT sanctioned which is perhaps the most significant factor for why I am considering other early season races. Otherwise, it's a nice early season event.

Terrific course for first time triathlon
Nice job. Small triathlon which makes it awesome for someone new to the sport. Very challenging bike course though due to rolling hills. Had a great time. Organization had a small problem with chip timing but hoping to see final results soon.
Nice race, more buoys
Nice race close to home. Not sanctioned, but that keeps the price down. My only complaint is more buoys are needed. It is hard to see the first turn due to the sun. Another buoy or two on the return would also be helpful.
Mr
This is a great, well run race. the transition setup seems complicated on paper but it not a problem at all. I would prefer the swim start was by age group but overall this is my favorite local race!
Great Race!
This is an awesome race: 1. Fun swim course (open water!) 2. Small town feel 3. 2 transition zones makes it fun 4. Plenty of spots for spectators along way 5. Well organized 6. Great for seasoned vets or first timers!

Great race and well organized. Would highly recommend this race!
LITH Tri review
Great weather and great organization made for an excellent morning. I am not a fan of the new starting procedure, but not a major setback. New bags are not easy to bike with. Point to point race is only a minor hassle once you understand how it all works. Bike racks are awesome! Great support along the course.
This is always a fabulous race!
Challenging, but not too. Not too big. Lots of fun and close to home!
LITH Tri truly rocks!
Great organization by Matt and Shane. Love the distances of each segment and love the hills on the bike (ha ha). Would prefer swim start by age group. Bags much better this year as it was easier in T1 to load wetsuit. Too bad timing company didn't have working computer post race.
Pulp
Good and challenging sprint race. Some disorganization at the beginning creating a late start on a hot day. Should consider swim start by projected time. Also a little more than expected traffic on the bike. No hydration of run for almost 2 miles. Interesting to see a couple elite and almost pro guys out there...I guess these guys really need the $.
