Last Minute 5K Beach Run for Scholarships Race Description

As an incoming freshman to Texas A&M University at College Station, I understand the financial difficulties college brings. Especially in trying to acquire, or "win," scholarships; therefore, I decided to create my own. A run on the beach in Galveston, Texas for the top three runners to be awarded with money for college. However, the race is not restricted to only college students, but open to anyone willing to contribute the award to a college student.
