Make Your Mark 5K Race Description

This is the inaugural year for the Heritage Care Center Make Your Mark Fun Run. Each year we will pick an organization that is working toward bringing improvements to the community. This year, the recipient of our fundraiser will be the Salt and Light Outreach program that is currently building a youth recreation and learning center.

Wear your neon colored clothing or headbands and get ready for a run through Iowa Falls. Once you arrive at Heritage Care Center, you will be offered the opportunity to leave your "mark" (hand-print) with the other runners on a banner to be displayed later. The paint is non-toxic and non-staining so feel free to leave your "mark" on your friends as well! The run will begin and end at Heritage Care Center, where there will be a "block party" at the races conclusion with carnival games.

***Since this is our first year hosting a 5K, we will not have official timers***
