Mighty Miracle Max 5k

This is a memorial 5k race and a Fun Run for Mighty Miracle Max!

When

The first Saturday of September.

This year the race will be held on September 1, 2018, at 9:00 am. 

Who

Anyone who wants to participate and help us celebrate our son's life.

Where

Eagle Mountain, Utah

Why

Our sweet little boy was only here for a 6 short months, however, in that time he touched many lives and showed us many miracles. He was born with an ASVD heart defect. He underwent open heart surgery at only 7 days old. It was a struggle to recover, but after 30 days of being in the CICU at Primary Children's Hospital, we were able to come home. It spent the next 4 months trying to gain weight and grow in preparation for his 2nd open heart surgery. In February, he was admitted back into the hospital for a failure to thrive. While there he caught a common cold, which extended his stay. Unfortunately, he ended up with a blood clot in his Arota, which prevented blood from flowing to the bottom portion of his body. He was so small, that surgery was not an option. He returned home to Our Heavenly Father around 2'oclock in the morning. Since then we have worked hard at continuing to share the miracles of life with others. To remind them to cherish their children, taking time for one more hug, one more story, one more kiss. 

Come run with us to remember Max, to put another 5k on your belt, or just close out summer.

Race Info

Runners Receive: a T-shirt and refreshments. (We are working with our sponsors to provide medals, prizes, a visit from our local Fire Station.  Stay Tuned!!)

Packet pickup will be available on Thursday, August 30, 2018 place to be TBD or morning of that race from 8:00 am to 8:30 am.
