This was my first Olympic tri, after many short and long sprint tris. The water was a bit choppy due to wind that day and you start the race in waist deep water. Well marked course and each loop of the swim, bike and run is 2x. The bike course was on flat paved roads that weren’t trafficked and The only challenge was the wind! You go over the dam and have a great view. The run is on both paved area and grass and dirt. The race had only 200 participants and seemed to be mostly individuals between 40 and 65, Etsy’s a younger crowd. Well run, easy packet pick up and I stayed at mississinewa camp site with family for the weekend. Would recommend this race and plan to do it again in 2022
