Moove Your Hooves 5k

Moove Your Hooves is the UC Davis Cross Country & Track and Field club's signature event and fundraiser distance race, open to the community. The course is a scenic 5K through iconic sections of campus, and proceeds go to our general fund, which keeps dues, uniform, and travel costs down throughout the year for all members.

This year, the course is an out-and-back from the track that winds through campus and curves next to the arboretum before racers reach halfway and return to the track. All community racers start in Wave 1, where they have a 2 minute head-start on Wave 2. Wave 2 is comprised of club members dressed as "cows," and if you beat them, you can get prizes from local businesses such as Davis Creamery, Woodstock's and more!

Prizes are also issued by age category, and usually come from local sponsors, such as Fleet Feet Sports and Davis Creamery. After the race, participants enjoy fresh food, including fruit, treats, recovery snacks, and beverages.

REGISTRATION

Registration starts at $45, but if you would like to donate the the club, that is also welcome! Our website has a fundraising tab. We appreciate anything you can provide our club and it will only fund our race and travel costs over the year. We hope to see you May 17th!
