Be A Hero and walk or run for the homeless animals at the Snake River Animal Shelter during the 11th annual Mutt Strut 5K coming up on Saturday, August 18th. This year's theme Be A Hero encourages runners to dress up as their favorite hero and to bring a sidekick! That sidekick could be your friendly adorable pup who wants to join the effort and walk or run for the critters.
This year's Mutt Strut includes the traditional Largest Pack Contest, Mascot Contest and also includes a Costume Contest! We will also have all kinds of fun and games hosted by our friends with Idaho Falls & Shelley Rocks. Don't forget to buy your raffle tickets early for our amazing raffle, and if you bring a can of people or pet food you get a free raffle ticket, good for a number of incredible prizes! (tickets are available at SRAS, located at 3000 Lindsay Blvd. Race check-in is from 9:00-9:45 AM and the race begins at 10:00 AM at the Snake River Landing.
