Mutt Strut 5k Race Description

The 5K Run/Walk is being conducted in conjunction with the Tornado Anniversary Weekend in Bayard on Saturday, June 9, 2018. $20 registration fee for adults and $10 for kids 12 and under includes a T-shirt. This is a non-sanctioned, fun run. Phone number for the day of the event (308) 641-0584.

All dogs are welcome, but are not required. You do not need to own/bring a dog to participate in Mutt Strut. Due to the high volume of dogs, it is preferred that animal participants are spayed or neutered.

ALL DOGS MUST BE kept on a leash and under supervision at all times. Retractable leashes are discouraged, but if used, must be locked at 4’ during the race. Dogs must also be dog and people-friendly, 6 months or older, and up to date on all vaccinations.

You are responsible for cleaning up after your dog. Please bring your own waste clean-up bags or get one from our volunteers along the race course.

Registration begins at 6:45 -7:30a.m. at the Library Park Shelter

5K starts at 8:00a.m
