Nesfield Performance (NP) is honored to host the '2nd Annual Nesfield Performance 5K Classic' on Sunday, May 22, 2022, where our commitment to helping others #PerformBetterInLife will extend to the Bethesda / Chevy Chase community.
We are partnering with The Spirit Club Foundation (SCF) and Metro Bethesda Rotary Club (MBRC) to advance our shared goals of promoting fitness, inclusivity, and community. Proceeds from the event will benefit both 501(c)(3) organizations.
This year we are headed to the track, and the event will take place at Bethesda Chevy Chase High School (4301 East-West Highway, Bethesda, Maryland 20814). Registration starts at 8:00 AM.
Participants can run the 5K, walk for 30 minutes, or compete in the 5K Relay.
There will be fun events for those coming to watch. Don't miss out on health & wellness mini-workshops, kids 100m run, raffles and prizes!
Can’t attend? You can still participate through sponsorships and donations. We are accepting monetary donations and in-kind gifts that will also benefit both 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations. Please email info@nesfieldperformance.com for more information.

ABOUT NESFIELD PERFORMANCE
Nesfield Performance is a personal training and fitness center based in Chevy Chase, MD. This minority and woman-owned organization is led by a former award-winning Division I track athlete who focuses on training clients through a holistic approach that focuses on the mind, nutrition, fitness, regeneration, and lifestyle. Our vision is to help people live healthier and fuller lives through optimal body performance. Our mission is to educate and coach clients to perform at their optimal level by strengthening their mind-body connection, encouraging freedom of movement, and demonstrating positive behaviors.
ABOUT SPIRIT CLUB FOUNDATION
Spirit Club Foundation builds healthy communities by providing access to fitness and wellness opportunities for people with disabilities who have intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout Maryland and the DC-metro region. Grants help disability service providers implement fitness programs that improve the physical, social, and mental health of more than 200 people with disabilities. The Foundation's scholarship program offsets the cost of personal training, group classes, adaptive swim lessons, and virtual programming for more than 50 people with disabilities in our community. Spirit Club Foundation is a small nonprofit that relies on volunteers dedicated to our mission of making exercise accessible to people who have intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout Maryland and the DC-metro region. The Foundation provides scholarships to offset the cost of group classes and private sessions for people who have intellectual and developmental disabilities.
ABOUT METRO BETHESDA ROTARY CLUB
The nonprofit arm of Metro Bethesda Rotary Club, the Metro Bethesda Rotary Foundation is an energetic, diverse group of community members dedicated to supporting efforts to provide humanitarian assistance locally and internationally. The Club is part of Rotary International, a global network of 1.2 million neighbors, friends, leaders, and problem-solvers. Although social connections and business opportunities are also benefits of membership, the central goal is to make our community a better place. All members are encouraged to participate in service projects, social events, fundraising activities, and leadership opportunities while displaying high ethical standards.
Metro Bethesda Rotary Club received its charter from Rotary International in December 2006 and has since grown to over 70 members and continues to welcome new members every month.
Race Day Details
Runners can participate in a 5K, or grab two friends to form a team and each run 1 mile. Walkers will compete against themselves—and the clock—in a 30-minute walk.

9:05 am Heats of 5k race (2 heats at once, max 4 heats, 3rd 4th heat will follow after 1st heat ~9:30-45am)
