No Child Wet Behind -OLYMPIA- 5K Race and 1 mi Family Fun Run Description

Doulas Northwest hosts this 5K and 1mi Family Fun Run event in order to raise awareness for an important family oriented issue in our community as well as to personally give back in a meaningful way.

**One in three families nationally struggles to afford enough diapers for their babies.**

Amplifying this issue is the reality that food assistance, most food banks, and other government subsidies do not include provision for diapers. If you had to choose between buying food or paying your rent...and buying enough diapers each month, which would you choose?

No Child Wet Behind was founded with our youngest community members in mind -in order to help bring relief for this issue and give back to our communities in a positive, real way. Registering for this race is just one way for you to help us make a difference for the one in three families who are struggling in the PNW right now!

Register. Come and have fun! Bring diapers to donate and encourage others to do the same.
