Nor-Cal Think Pink 5k Walk/Run Race Description
Race Start Time: 9:30 am
Grab your running shoes and Pink swag for a fun 5K Walk/Run with your community.
Join us on October 4, 2025 at Turtle Bay Exploration Park Arboretum to further raise awareness for breast cancer at this event for all ages.
Nor-Cal Think Pink’s mission is to save lives by educating the importance of early detection screening.
Adults $25, Youth (18 and Under) $15 , 5 & Under are Free.
Packet pickup will be held at Lake Redding Golf Course, 1795 Benton Drive, from Noon to 6 pm on Friday, October 3th
Or, from 8:30 am to 9:00 am at the event
Race begins at 9:30 am.

Great all-ages, all-skill level event
My family was energized by the fun atmosphere created by the dj, cheerleaders, and vendors. Loosely lining up by speed was beneficial and accommodated my group of 2 runners, 2 walk/joggers, and 1 walker. The course was well-marked and had one water station. It was fantastic seeing kids and adults of all ages enjoying the course together. One participant in my group is now hooked on 5Ks-- we'll plan to be back next year!

Water stations
I've been in 3 running races in the last 3 months here in the Redding area and this was the only race that had a water station in the race, but there needs to be more of them in a race. One just wasn't enough from my point of view. Other than that everybody was really friendly though so no complaints about the volunteers. Thank you!!
