Oktoberfest 1st Annual 5k Fun Run Where & When
Most Helpful Review
Overpriced
Overpriced and there was no regulation of who paid and who did not. Anyone could just walk up and do the run. $35 was way to much for this “event”. Probably more like $15-20. The start and finish line were hard to see because they were drawn in chalk on the sidewalk. Not timed, no bibs, no finisher medal, no national anthem at start. The course was not 3.1 mi and was just running on the cracked and uneven sidewalk except where you ran through the school parking lot dodging all the cars trying to park for a football game. The included ticket to enter the Oktoberfest event that evening was $5 otherwise. So basically I just bought a really expensive T-shirt. Pros: the course was well marked with signs. We got a bottle of water. Quality time running with a friend. Looking at the beautiful architecture of the homes while running through the neighborhoods.
