Paws for a Cause 5K Palm Bay

Join us on Saturday, April 22nd 2023 at Fred Poppe Regional Park for the 4th Annual Paws for a Cause 5K!Welcome back to the 4th Annual Paws for a Cause 5K benefitting Serene Harbor! Bring your furry friends out to this pet friendly chip timed 5K! This race is taking place both in-person and virtually! Participants will run or walk through the beautiful Fred Poppe Regional Park! With little elevation changes this course is simple, fast and perfect for your next PR! All participants will receive a race T-Shirt & a Finisher medal! Awards will be given out to the top 3 finishers in each category!About Serene HarborSerene Harbor has served Brevard County for 30 years; providing emergency shelter, 24/7 confidential hotline, counseling services, transportation, relocation assistance,support groups, legal advocacy, outreach programs, referrals, and assistance programs to survivors of domestic violence. To learn more about these programs, please call or text our 24/7 hotline at 321-726-8282.Race InformationThe 4th Annual Paws for a Cause 5K will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at 8:00am. This race will start and finish at Fred Poppe Regional Park. Packet Pick-Up information will be shared as the event approaches. This race will be chip timed by Southern Timing, LLC. Coffee, water and light snacks will be provided on race morning with 2 water stations along the course at mile 1 and mile 2. This is a Dog Friendly event! For everyone’s safety, we ask that ONLY well-mannered, vaccinated dogs are in attendance (please clean up after your pet). No retractable leashes allowed. Registration for your dog is optional, if you choose to register your dog they will receive chip timing just like you, a bandana and a special finisher medal just for the dogs! Edible awards will also be given to the top 3 fastest dogs!Race TimingChip timing will be provided by Southern Timing, LLC. Participants will receive a bib with a timing chip affixed to the back, live results with SMS updates if you choose to sign up for them, results kiosks on-site so you can check your results once you have finished the race and an individual results page with a finisher certificate and a 20 second clip of you crossing the start and finish line that is available to download and share across social media.
