Paws for Plum 1 Mile Dog Walk Race Description

This is a one mile dog walk to support the funding of the dog park in Plum Borough. The race will take place on Old Mine Road in Plum, PA and begin in front of the Plum EMS station located at 1990, Old Mine Rd, Plum, PA 15239. There will be vendors, food, music, raffles, and lots of dogs! Bring your family, friends, and most importantly your dog. All proceeds go directly to the dog park. All dogs must be kept on leash, up to date on vaccines, and cleaned up after! Thank you so much for your support! 

***Please note: Registration is available the day of the event. It will begin at 8am and ends promptly at 8:45am so that the walk may begin on time (9am). To those who choose to register the day of the event, the cost is $20 per person + dog(s) or $25 for more than 1 person + dog(s). The walk will begin promptly at 9am in front of the Plum EMS Station and Renton Fire Hall. If you register online ahead of time you DO NOT need to report to the registration table on the day of the event.

Parking will be in the Public Works parking lot at 2001 Old Mine Road Plum PA 15239. Old Mine Rd. will be closed at 8:45am in anticipation for the race to begin on time. Please make sure you are there before the event start time. 

Timeline of events:

Day of Registration: 8-8:45am

Road closes: 8:45am

Walk begins: 9am in front of Plum EMS 

Road re-opens: 11am 

Vendors, music, raffle baskets, and food available: 8:30am-11am
