My first Marathon

This was my first marathon that I ran back in 2017. The city was beautiful and the day was mild and cloudless. Past the halfway point every step was grueling and at the age of 16 I had never known endurance pain like that. I ran to challenge myself and work past some side effects of the ADHD medication I had been placed on my entire life and I am really grateful to have been able to have such a human experience that day. A marathon is no joke! Thank you to the organizers who began this running fest the year I ran
