Project Faith Works 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run Race Description

Join us on Saturday, May 4, 2019 for the 1st annual Project Faith Works 5k and 1 Mile Fun Run!

Every year, during the first week of June, our church participates in a faith-based home repair and renovation project. This project is designed to reach people in need with free home repair such as roofing, painting, wheelchair ramps, access steps and general carpentry. Homes are repaired through volunteer efforts and donations (100% of donations go towards home repairs)!

This 5K/Fun Run begins at the Springtown Square, and winds through the streets and parks of Springtown, and ends back at the square.

This is a family oriented event for ALL ages! Strollers are welcome but will be asked to begin toward the back of the racing pack for safety. Pets are welcome and will be asked to begin toward the back of the pack as well.

The 1 Mile Fun Run begins at 8:15 am and is a 1 mile loop. All participants must register to include any family members or friends who plan to help their racer along the way.

The 5k will begin at 8:00 am and will be timed. Awards will be given to the top three finishers in each age group.

Age groups will be as follows: 12-under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-up.

Packet pick up will be on race day, Saturday, May 4th from 7:20 - 8:00 am.
