This was an awesome race. Really challenging trails with a serious climb. The course was really well maked with tons of volunteers!
Best t shirts! Best Venue!
Such a great race, well organized, wonderful volunteers. What an amazing way to honor a hero!
First time doing this race. This was very spontaneous. We didn't train, so we just did one of the shorter legs, but not only is the drive always beautiful, but the trails themselves...through the woods....very nice people participated.....low-key....those who wanted to really compete, did, and made time and those who just wanted to raise money, have fun, and get some exercise did their own thing as well. It's a commitment to drive there, but the views are worth it. My suggestion if you're coming from the Pitkin County area.....make a day of it.....stay for awards/food or hit the hot springs anywhere on your way home and grab a bite in Glenwood, Carbondale or Basalt! Cheers! Always nice to get off the grid for a change and focus on your breathing, our natural surroundings and the camaraderie of others.
