September is National Recovery Month, a national effort to celebrate recovery and spread awareness for rehabilitative resources. The Patsy's Place "Race 4 Recovery 5k and 1 mile" aims to do just that; spread awareness of the resources in Amarillo while celebrating those living in recovery today. The race takes place August 26th at beautiful Thompson Park and participants can choose between a walk ad run option, offering everyone the opportunity to participate. Participants can even opt to be a "Sleep Walker" and contribute to the race without ever leaving their bed.
