Dad's Day Dash Race Description

We are back for another great race - With a few exciting changes this year!

We will be at Riverfront Park on June 16th - race starts at 9am! For those living out of the area, or who aren’t ready for an event with others, we will have our virtual race available too!

All prices for virtual participants and family categories include a free shirt – in-person individuals can add one on for $10! Sizes not guaranteed after June 1st.

'JOIN' us the weekend of June 15-16! As our second largest fundraiser of the year, we rely on funds this event brings in to help keep our programs available to your neighbors who want to maximize their potential!

Get involved:

1. Register as an In-person or Virtual individual or a Family Team to do a 5k or 1-mile - share your registration on Facebook and a referral code with your friends for extra discounts!

2. Everyone can join our Facebook event and take advantage of opportunities to win prizes leading up to race weekend!

3. We will set up packet pickups at local Chase branches in the week before the event. Details will be provided in early June. For those virtual participants who cannot attend a packet pickup, we will mail your packet to the address you provided with your registration. If you register prior to end of business on Wednesday, 6.12, you should receive your packet prior to the race weekend if you live in the Spokane area. Registrations on Thursday will not be guaranteed to receive their packets before the race weekend; sorry for any inconvenience.

4.     EVENT TIME!

Virtual runners can do their race sometime during the weekend of June 15-17. You can walk, jog, run, or race a 1mile or 5k route. Have fun, take pics and upload them, go your own pace! Post pics to our Instagram using hashtags #SNAPDash5k and #DashTogetherApart for extra raffle entries.

In-person participants will have a mass start at 9am; 1-mile participants will start directly after the 5k start. Race start and finish line is near Northbank Shelter.

Day-of packet pickup and day-of registration starts at 7:30am. Please come early and be patient if you are picking up this morning.

5.     In-person participants will have results posted as normal. Awards will be provided for top three finishers in Open, Masters, and 0-12 categories.

6.     Feel awesome the rest of the day, month, year – you helped make amazing things possible by supporting SNAP and your neighbors!

Then get ready for next year, when we plan to be back in Manito Park celebrating Dads, families, walkers, runners, and SNAP Supporters!

We are so grateful to our generous sponsors who are stepping up to help us make this event great and stay on target for much needed revenue!  Please see the listing of them below and support these local businesses! We are going to have some great promos and prizes to offer from some of them for participants too!!

SNAP is a 501c3 not-for-profit serving Spokane County residents who strive to exit poverty and build a better life. Last year we served more than 41,000 people with energy assistance, small business loans, housing, home repairs and more. All proceeds from this event directly benefit SNAP's mission to provide access and connection to resources that create opportunities, with dignity, for people of low income.

Fun fun run

Beautiful location in Manito Park with 5K and 1.4 mile options. You get to see most of the park at the right time of the year.

A family tradition!

I love this event sooo much! My daughter and I run it every year. Every time I put on my shirt from a previous race, I'm flooded with wonderful father's day memories. Whether you have kids or not, this is a great race--beautiful course, and an amazing cause.
