Just Drive 5K Race Description

In memory of my sister Penny Verdeck, who was killed on April 26, 2015 by a distracted driver, we are hosting this family run/walk to honor her memory and to help raise awareness of the terrible tragedies resulting from distracted driving.

The event is being held on Sunday April 30th, starting at 9:00AM. Check in will begin at 7:30AM. Everyone is welcome. Runners, walkers, young, and not so young are all encouraged to come honor Penny and spread the word about distracted driving.

Kids Run begins at 9:00am and chip timed 5K will follow immediately.

Registration is free, however, if you care to donate, there are several options. With a $20.00 donation, you will receive a t-shirt commemorating the event. All proceeds will go towards expenses associated with the event. Excess funds will be donated to Minnesotans for Safe Driving to help educate young people on the dangers of distracted driving.
