Riggins Salmon Run Race Description

The Riggins Salmon Run will be held the second Saturday in September, sponsored by the Salmon River Chamber of Commerce. This is a family friendly event offering multiple distances including a Kids Fun Run for children ages 3-6years of age. The Half Marathon distance will kick off at 9:00 am followed by the 10K start at 9:30 and a 10:00 start for the 5K. Runners will complete an out and back course. The finish line for all distances will be at Riggins City Park where runners and their families can enjoy music, food and drinks. Finishers prizes will be given for each distance as well as Men's and Women's first prize awards.  Join us for this awesome event.  Register today!

Awe Inspiring

This was my 9th half marathon and I have to say it is by far one of the pretest I have ran. The course was mis-marked and turned out to be 13.5 miles. A little irritating when you’re already tired, but the free food and beer, for runners, made up for it. I have been promised the mileage and been remarked for this coming race. I will be there.

BEAUTIFUL!!

Organizers did an amazing job for a first year event. The volunteers and organizers did an amazing job and the sponsors are incredible!!! Not sure who they paid for the weather, but it was worth it.
