The Veteran's Appreciation 5K Run and Walk/1K Kids Fun Run is a new race that is being started by the SEMO Student Veteran's Organization. This run will support local Veteran organizations such as the VFW and Songs 4 Soldiers. The mission of the run is to keep these Veterans organizations alive so that our future Veterans have the opportunities to join and receive the benefits that today's Veterans enjoy. Also it is to show the Veterans of the past, present, and future that their sacrifice and dedication is appreciated.
