About The RHS Scholarship Fund
This year is the 2nd Annual TJ Memorial 5k Run/Walk in memory of long time Richmond County resident, Todd Jewell, who suddenly passed away on a short run on July 4, 2020. Todd was an avid cyclist and runner and could be found most early Saturday mornings running the streets of Warsaw.
Todd and his wife, Dawn, have 3 sons, Josh, Matthew, and Jacob. They all have been active community members who attended Richmond County Public Schools and participated in many sports. The family is thankful that Richmond County Public Schools now has a community track in honor of Todd thanks to the support of last year's race participants, donors, and sponsors. This track can be used by the students of Rappahannock and the community for walking and running.
This year, the Jewell family is excited that all of the race proceeds will go to start the Rappahannock High School Scholarship Fund.
