About Hope Crisis Center
Domestic violence and sexual assault are much more common than a person might realize. According to the CDC, about 1 in 4 women and nearly 1 in 10 men have experienced contact sexual violence, physical violence, and/or stalking by an intimate partner during their lifetime. Thankfully, organizations like Hope Crisis Center exist to support victims that are facing the harsh reality of domestic and sexual violence.
Hope Crisis Center is a non-profit organization that serves survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault in southeast Nebraska, serving seven counties (Fillmore, Gage, Jefferson, Saline, Seward, Thayer, & York). We work as advocates for survivors, supporting them as they process the violence they have experienced and walking them through the journey to safety and healing. Funding for our program largely comes from donations.
