About Mattoon Area Family YMCA
All proceeds and donations received from the Turkey Trot benefit the YMCA’s Membership for All scholarship fund. The Mattoon Area Family YMCA is a leading nonprofit organization committed to helping ALL people realize their fullest potential and grow in spirit, mind, and body. The Y is here to serve people of all ages, backgrounds, abilities, and incomes and believes that programs and services should be available to everyone. Membership for All is a sliding fee scale that is designed to help individuals and families stay healthy, thrive and belong.
Through our Membership for All, we provide assistance to youth, adults, and families based on individual needs and circumstances. All this is made possible through the hard work and generosity of our volunteers and donors. All Y members receive the same membership benefits, regardless of whether or not they are receiving assistance. Y members can feel great knowing that they are involved in an organization that cares greatly for the health and well-being of people and is committed to youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. The Y offers more than programs and services, we ensure that every individual has access to the essentials needed to learn, grow and thrive.
