$0.00 Raised for Prairie Striders/Phil LaVallee Memorial Scholarship

The Jack 15 serves as a fundraiser for an endowed scholarship for the South Dakota State University track and cross country program. Phil LaVallee was a Jackrabbit runner who was killed by a distracted driver near his Minnesota home on Aug. 8, 2013. The scholarship has been awarded annually since the 2014-15 school year, when it was presented to his cousin, Laura Lawton. Funds come strictly from members of Prairie Striders Running Club and those connected with its races.
