Midcoast Conservancy protects and promotes healthy lands, waters, and communities through conservation, outdoor adventure, and learning.

In 2016, four local land trusts and conservation organizations merged to become Midcoast Conservancy. Now we welcome a whole new group to the family: Medomak Valley Land Trust. Together, our 5 founding organizations have become one of the largest regional conservation organizations in Maine, with over 8,200 acres of land conserved. By joining forces, we can do more to care for the Sheepscot River, Damariscotta Lake and the Medomak River from source to sea. Keeping these three jewels healthy are crucial for wildlife, fisheries, climate resiliency and drives local economies.
