One of SEAAEYC’s impactful initiatives is sponsoring Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library (DPIL), a program that brings the joy of reading into homes across Southeast Alaska. DPIL delivers a free high-quality book to the homes of enrolled children throughout Southeast Alaska once a month, from birth to age 5. Since launching the program locally in 2006, SEAAEYC has provided a total of 299,669 books to 8,685 children across SE Alaska. This program has significantly contributed to improved literacy rates and kindergarten readiness. Help SEAAEYC Imagination Library raise funds to continue this wonderful program throughout SE Alaska for many years to come!
