Join us for a 2, 5, or 8 mile trail run/walk on the beautiful E.N. Huyck Preserve trails in the historic village of Rensselaerville, NY. Participants will see a historic race track, vernal ponds, a large lake, and waterfalls as they traverse the grassy and single-track woodlands trail. All proceeds will go to the E.N. Huyck Preserve and Rensselaerville Library.
Registration: $20 until March 31, $25 until April 30, $30 until May 31, $35 after June 1.

Fun run on beautiful trails
Excellently organized race in a nice location. The trails were in great shape. Nice challenging hills as well.

This was my first time at Hyuck and first trail race. I definitely underestimated how difficult trail running is but I had a great time! Thank you for putting on such a great event! The volunteers were also wonderful along the way.

Turtle Trot
Some places along the trails were tricky with loose rocks and lots of roots. But overall the view and the environment were beautiful! Thanks to all the staff and volunteers.... You guys rock!

Definitely worth running!
This is a nice trail run with 2, 5 and 8 mile events. I ran the 8 mile which is just an extension of the 5 mile course. About 95% is in the woods and on the trails. The footing can be a little technical on the far end but there is great scenery along the way. I'd recommend this to anyone who enjoys running trails.
Rville run
This is an outstanding race. I always look forward to running here. It was very well organized.
Perfect race
Great race, awesome people, good cause and perfect weather! The only problem was marking of the 8 mile course - bunch of people ended up on the Peasley Road and went around to get back on the trail on Woods Road.
