Richmond SPCA Dog Jog and 5K Race Description

Join thousands of animal lovers for the 22nd Annual Dog Jog, 5K and Block Party, presented by Holiday Barn Pet Resorts and benefiting the Richmond SPCA! Participate in person or select the “run anywhere” option. RVA’s favorite family- and pet-friendly event is BACK!

Expect a day packed with fun activities for the whole family. The day begins with a chip-timed 5K (3.1 mile) at 10 a.m. for people only, followed by the Little Paws Fun Run for kids ages 4 to 10 at 11 a.m. and then a leisurely 1-mile Dog Jog at 11:30 a.m. before our Block Party, which is free to attend, kicks off at noon. Throughout the morning, we host our outdoor Marketplace at our Robins-Starr Humane Center, featuring live music, beer/wine trucks, pet-friendly crafts and local retailers. Plus, don’t miss out on stopping by our Kids’ Fun Zone and a Pets’ Fun Zone — it has fun activities for everyone.

Your participation makes a lifesaving difference to pets in need. All net proceeds aid in our efforts to rescue and rehabilitate homeless animals and to deliver crucial programs to pets and the people who love them.
