Rotary Runs The Beach Race Description

The 2nd annuall 'Rotary Runs the Beach' takes place on scenic Indian Rocks Beach.  Sand replenishment took place this summer, so running on the beach is better than ever!  A 5K- timed run or 1-mile family fun run / walk is offered.  A special thanks to our main sponsor The Original Crabby Bill's restaurant!  This April 6, 2019 event benefits the Rotary Club of Indian Rocks who support both local and international causes (please visit www.indianrocksrotary.org).  This is a great event for competitors as well as beginners.

The 5K begins at 8:00am and the 1 miler begins 8:10am. Join us at the beach park located at 1700 Gulf Blvd on Indian Rocks Beach. Parking is a nominal fee on site or park on city streets for no-fee. Race is chipped and the course is “out and back”. Packet pick-up at “The Orginal Crabby Bill's” located at 401 Gulf Boulevard, Indian Rocks Beach on April 4th and April 5th.  On Race Day go straight to 1700 Gulf Blvd.  T-shirts not guaranteed if not registered by April 1st.  Also, on-line registration closes the evening of April 3rd.  In-person registration can be accomplished at Crabby Bill's on Friday and at race location Saturday morning.

After party at Crabby Bill's in Indian Rocks Beach just a mile or so from the race location... what a fantastic way to reward yourself for a job well done!

Are you a run club member? Join the Running Club Competition when you run the 5K. Individual winners (medals).  You can create you own team as well - so get your fellow runners together and create a team/club! Individual Running Contest open to all runners. Medals for winners by age groups (10-year breakouts). For additional details, please visitwww.rotaryrunsthebeach.org      Again a special thanks to our main sponsor The Original Crabby Bill's!    One last item...  Finley the Clearwater Threshers mascot will be in attendance!   Be sure to bring your cameras / cell phones!
