Great course in and around the Sundial Bridge and Sacramento River. Awesome cause to raise money for. Inaugural race is bound to have some hiccups but the organizers have a lot to learn. Not enough volunteers for course direction and turn around points. Atmosphere lacked a cohesive vibe. Lack of aggressive advertising equated to a very low turnout. And they broke the cardinal rule: you never change race times to be earlier.

Rudy, we at Running Brave appreciate your feedback and yes you were absolutely right the first year was a great learning year for us! In 2017 we were able to increase our volunteer staff, have a clearly well defined marked course and kept our start times consistent! We were able to double our race attendance and had a much more cohesive vibe with a wonderful atmosphere! We hope to see you back for Running Brave in Redding 2018 so you can participate in all the great improvements we have made!
