Shamrock Shuffle 5k Race Description

Race Timeline: March 8th 2025

9am: Day of registration and race packet
pick up begins
10am: Shamrock Shuffle 5k begins

Shamrock Shuffle 5k: (all ages)
This 5k+ fun run/walk is hosted and sponsored by UW-Eau Claire’s Recreation and Sport Operations department. Our event takes place on March 8th, 2025 and is a great way to kick off your 5k season. The route starts on UW-Eau Claire’s upper campus, down the infamous Garfield Avenue hill, over the scenic university footbridge and follows the river up the beautiful Chippewa Valley River trail. The race is a loop that begins and ends at the McPhee Physical Education Center. Our race is open to any fitness level. Feeling competitive? We have a race clock at the finish line so you are able to time and track your personal progress. Interested in enjoying a scenic run or walk with friends? Enjoy the views at a comfortable pace. Strollers are welcome if you want to make this a fun event for the entire family!

Team and guaranteed t-shirt deadline is 11:00pm on February 20th, 2025. We will order extra shirts but cannot guarantee size or shirt after this deadline. No refunds.

Great Race to Kick off the Season

This is a great race. Perfect for beginners and running enthusiasts. It's well set up. Packet pick up is easy & organized. Never takes more than a few minutes to get everything. Race is simple to navigate and well marked. While the weather in WI is so unpredictable, the course is very scenic weather it is sunny, raining, or snow. Also the money raised goes for a good cause.

Great Race to Kick off the Season
